Welcome to Sherman House

Hello everyone! After a fun-filled drive from Gannon, we arrived safely in Hamilton, Ontario this afternoon! We were instantly greeted by the assistants and five core members of the Sherman House, including David, Bev, Doris, Alice, and Richard. We were so grateful to be greeted with such kindness and enthusiasm! After a dinner of pizza, David quickly introduced us to his love of the Batman television series and we spent the evening spending time together. We concluded our night with a group reflection, taking time to focus on the ways we would like to both grow and serve, with open hearts and minds, throughout our week with the L'Arche community. We are excited to continue sharing our experiences and group members' perspectives with you in the coming days!
